My Life
I was born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1967. I attended Marshall University from 1986-1990. I moved to Colorado with my husband, Brian in 1990 after graduation. We have lived near Denver for 34 years. We have two adult children. We also have two Boston Bull Terriers. I attained my Master's Degree in 2011 and-as of 2023- I hold a PhD in Public Policy. When I am not writing, I love to read, garden, listen to music, bake, go to the mountains, and practice yoga.

Join me on my writing journey. I write true crime and poetry. This is a strange mix I know. Poetry comes much easier. True crime takes much longer and is more complicated. I enjoy both.
